Greer Veon is a writer raised on the state line between the twin cites of Texarkana, Arkansas and Texarkana, Texas. In 2019, she received her MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. Her fiction and nonfiction work focuses on interests surrounding the people and culture within the South. As a journalist, Greer has interned for CBS This Morning and ELLE Magazine, and served as a freelance coordinator for ELLE International. Her work has been featured in Elle and The New Territory Magazine, and recently as a contributing writer for Write or Die Tribe.
When not writing, Greer loves staying up-to-date on book releases, exploring local coffee shops, and talking to others about the writing process. She currently resides in Conway, Arkansas where she works as a Residence Life Coordinator for her alma mater, Hendrix College.
